MANHATTAN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY offers the option of IV sedation for both Adult and Pediatric patients. Our anesthesiologists are MDs who utilize state of the art techniques and fast-acting, safe anesthetics. For many ADULT patients, high field MRI can be an anxiety provoking experience. The alternative, open low field MRI, often provides imaging results that are less than satisfying. By taking advantage of sedation administered and monitored by our anesthesiologists, your patient can be ensured the best high field MRI study possible without any loss of resolution and diagnostic quality. For PEDIATRIC patients, sedation provides the only reliable means of obtaining non motion degraded CT and MRI studies for ENT, Neuro and Musculoskeletal imaging.
